Tyler Bradway is co-founder and co-director, with Heather Bartlett, of the Distinguished Voices in Literature speaker series, which is the first lecture series at SUNY Cortland dedicated to literature and literary criticism. The main goal of the series is to foster learning and scholarship on the literary arts by giving students, faculty, and the Cortland community access to a range of perspectives on contemporary literature.
Distinguished Voices in Literature represents a breadthof experience and accomplishment, featuring both emerging and well established writers and scholars, allowing students to engage with writers at various stages in their careers. The series also features writers whose individual works and achievements represent the diversity of contemporary letters. Finally, the series foregrounds a wide range of genres, including fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, criticism, literary theory, and comics.
